About Me

In 1983 I was offered my first contracting gig. The job took place in New York City at Lincoln Centers Avery Fisher  Hall. After the large success of the evening, while driving home, I recall thinking to myself this is what I wanted to do with my life. Carefully putting performance ensembles together is one of the
greatest joys in my professional life.
I began my current position as Orchestra Personnel Manager of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra
on my 40th birthday, the 24th of October 2004. Coupled with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, I assumed the role of House Contractor for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, home of the NJSO.  www.NJPAC.org Here we have produced dozens of performances ranging from full blown staged productions of My Fair Lady, The Rat Pack, The King & I, Some Like it Hot, Evita and many more to single engagements with Johnny Mathis, Bernadette Peters and Patti Austin, Chris Botti, Spike Lee and so many others.

As a Music Coordinator, I worked on a production of A Tale of Two Cities (2004), the musicial. By 2007, we opened at the Asolo Repertory Theater www.asolo.org in Sarasota Florida and one year later at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City.

Town Square Productions: Off Broadway production of Disenchanted, The Musical

Continuing with music coordinating, I teamed up with MGP Live on their ZELDA tour as the coordinator for  North America and Canada.

I am working with Bureau Betak as music coordinator - producing the music, commercial and webcast of the unveiling of uniforms worn at the Brazil 2016 Summer Olympics - A NIKE production.

The next chapter of my work came in the winter of 2012 when I began writing my book,  Onward and Upward. Author House was the chosen vehicle for getting my manuscript to print. You can purchase your copy by clicking this link: Onward and Upward
