Following his retirement in 2019, Ennio Morricone began working with his son, (film)composer and conductor Andrea Morricone and concert producers GEA Live on the format of a new arena spectacular around his body of work.

The time had come to treat fans around the World to something new. By mid-2020, the Maestro had curated the program for a fully produced new show with clips from the greatest classic films, intelligent lighting, and the handpicked favorite soloists to be featured on stage alongside symphony orchestras and choirs under the baton of his son Andrea Morricone. On July 6th 2020, Ennio Morricone passed at age 91.

What to Expect!

Performers: Italy’s Ensemble Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Giacomo Loprieno, with special guests soprano Anna Delfino and violinist Attila Simon. Narration: Actor and director Andrea Bartolomeo will provide narration to enhance the cinematic experience. Music: Live performances of Morricone’s legendary soundtracks, including scores from Once Upon a Time in the WestThe Hateful EightThe MissionCinema Paradiso, and Malèna. Experience: An immersive show bringing together music, narration, and solo performances to celebrate the renowned composer.
